Patra's Charbroiled Burgers didn't start with a big plan or a franchise model. It started with a simple idea: cook real food, the right way, for the neighborhood.
Since opening on North San Fernando Road in 1978, we've been doing exactly that. Every single day. Flame-grilled patties, fresh local ingredients and a kitchen that doesn't take shortcuts — not back then, not now.
LA has changed a lot since 1978. The neighborhood has grown, the city has evolved, but the line at Patra's drive thru hasn't gone anywhere. That's the part that never gets old.

After the first bite you get that charbroiled taste like you're eating at a backyard BBQ. Good sized burger and fries for very cheap. Hands down, one of the best burgers in this part of Los Angeles.
